Ocean Universal is a dive shop in Westcourt, Cairns, FNQ. The store sells spearfishing gear, scuba diving equipment, and freediving equipment.
The business was formerly Spearfishing Superstore. The rebrand happened after the range grew beyond just spearfishing. Spearfishing is still central to what they sell, but the shop now also has scuba regulators, BCDs, dive computers, freediving fins, wetsuits, stinger suits, masks, and snorkelling gear.
The staff have been doing this for over 25 years. Stock is picked for FNQ conditions, so it actually works on the Great Barrier ocean universal Reef and the local dive sites.
